Description
Two distinct bays can be found side by side at Alagadi Turtle Beach.
One is always well-attended and has a restaurant called Turtle Paradise while the other bay is more secluded and suits those wanting a quiet day at the beach. Bring your own beach accessories as neither of the bays offer sun beds or umbrellas.
In the summer, sea turtles lay their eggs on Alagadi Beach, and the volunteer group SPOT arranges excavations of turtle nests that can be viewed with advance reservations.
Don't pass up the opportunity to dip your feet in the warm natural "rock pools" that the Mediterranean sun has created while admiring the beautiful coastline.
